What--
Dinner and Discussion with the GSI is a new program designed
for
CGA/CMA sophomores It is an open forum for the discussion,
debate, and analysis of world affairs.
When--
A session will be held each term during the school year. The
time for
each session will be during the regular dinner hour—6:00 p.m. to
7:15 p.m.— on a week night evening. The GSI will provide pizza,
ice cream, and soft drinks.
Who--
Sophomores who have shown a strong interest in world affairs,
and
a willingness to participate in class discussions, will be
invited by
their Humanities instructor to attend one of the sessions.
Where--
Location to be announced.
Moderators--
Sophomore Humanities Instructors will be the moderators.
There is no agenda or schedule, only the free exchange
of ideas and
opinions on the great issues of the day.
There’s More???
Along with lively conversation and good food, two students
at each
session will receive a free subscription to either The Economist
or
Foreign Policy, while a third student will win a new book of
his or
her choice on world affairs.
If you are invited to attend one of these sessions, please
RSVP your instructor, so
the GSI can order the pizzas. If you have not been
